About the Role

Roche is a global research-focused healthcare leader, and we're seeking a highly skilled Product Lead to join our team. As a Product Lead, you will play a critical role in steering the product's journey, guiding the success of a product/solution, and leading a cross-functional team responsible for improving it.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Articulate a Clear Product Vision: Create a clear product vision that aligns with the company's overall strategy and goals.
  2. Marketing Plan Development: Define a Marketing Plan proposal outlining objectives, strategies, initiatives, and tactics for sales teams of the related product/solution, focusing on Near Patient Care and aligning with the Integrated Company Plan.
  3. Launch and Business Planning: Prepare related products and solutions for launch and business planning.
  4. Market Trend Analysis: Analyze Near Patient Care market trends through market analyses, understand customer journeys, and identify growth opportunities.
  5. Market Awareness, Promotion, and Communication: Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and publications, Communities of Practice (CoP), and other essential communications within the CA and E-L scopes related to the products in scope. Develop promotional campaigns in coordination with Global teams and manage budget control.
  6. Product Mastery: Attain exhaustive knowledge of the product's features, clinical applications, and competitive advantages. Identify strengths and weaknesses against competitors, shaping product strategies, positioning, and tactics accordingly. Capture customer and market feedback and communicate proposed product improvements to global teams.
  7. Documentation and Support Material: Adapt or originate technical-commercial documentation, seek out supporting literature, and provide comprehensive materials that aid the product's understanding and promotion.
  8. Regulatory Vigilance and Quality Collaboration: Play a pivotal role in the product monitoring process, working in unison with the quality and regulatory departments to uphold standards and compliance.
  9. Commercial and Tender Support: Provide robust support for technical-commercial matters, including product-specific training, detailed product explanations for selected strategic customers, assistance with product-related queries in tenders, competitive assessments, and handling unique queries not previously documented.
  10. Continual Learning and Product Proficiency: Commit to ongoing personal education to master new product features and stay updated on existing product solutions, ensuring deep knowledge and expertise are maintained.
  11. Product Care Accountability: Rely on operational support from Product Specialists, but be the ultimate accountable person for end-to-end product readiness in internal systems.
  12. Clinician Selling Network Assistance: Guide the Clinician Selling network through regular updates, materials, sales arguments, scientific sessions, and interactions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) - specifically for products requiring demand-driven promotion.
Requirements
  1. Product Knowledge and Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the engineering and/or science behind the portfolio under your responsibility is required. Bachelor's or Master's degree or previous on-the-job experience that supports mastery in the related product portfolio.
  2. Marketing and Communication Skills: Comprehensive understanding of product functionalities, clinical indications, and market positioning; and the capacity to translate these into impactful messages for the sales force.
  3. Leadership and Strategic Planning: Good marketing capabilities, with autonomy to design and execute product-centered strategies and marketing tactics.
  4. Communication and Educational Skills: Effective communication and educational skills, particularly in training sales forces and engaging with KOLs.
  5. Analytical and Strategic Planning Abilities: Good analytical and strategic planning abilities.
  6. Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
