Event Content and Speaker Acquisition Manager

Management Events is seeking a skilled professional to curate engaging experiences for the Aurora Live Business Network.

Aurora Live brings together IT, Cyber, and Digital leaders from top European organizations.

This role involves creating innovative content for physical and virtual events by identifying relevant speakers and case studies, and nurturing relationships through coaching and feedback.

Key performance indicators include delivering high-quality projects on schedule, working collaboratively, and achieving commercial targets.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Speaker Acquisition: Secure commitments from top-tier C-suite executives as keynote speakers and panelists for DACH flagship events and virtual content.
  • Cultivating Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with high-profile speakers, aligning them with relevant topics for the audience.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discern and fulfill speaker preferences.
  • Seamless Event Delivery: Work with event producers to ensure smooth event execution and deliver exceptional attendee experiences.
  • Local Craftmanship: Collaborate with internal teams to translate event agendas into compelling speaker narratives.
  • Pre-Event Powerhouse: Lead the speaker briefing process, providing ongoing support to ensure speakers are well-prepared and aligned with event goals.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a background in target-driven commercial roles with direct customer interaction and set deadlines.
  • Is a team player with high clock speed and can navigate multiple ongoing projects.
  • Communicates with confidence, persuasion, and fluency in both German and English.
  • Maintains a tech-savvy curiosity and interest in the evolution of technology and its impact on business.
  • Demonstrates a 'can-do' attitude, strong accountability, and a willingness to go the extra mile for excellence.
  • Collaborates effectively and radiates positive energy, contributing to a vibrant team environment.
