Event Content and Speaker Acquisition Manager

Management Events is seeking a highly skilled professional to curate engaging experiences for the Aurora Live Business Network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating cutting-edge content for our physical and virtual events by identifying and securing top-tier speakers and case studies relevant to our target audience. Your success will be measured by your ability to keep projects on schedule with high-quality and innovative content, while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless event experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Speaker Acquisition: Identify and secure commitments from C-suite executives in IT, Digital, and Cybersecurity as keynote speakers and panelists for our Nordic flagship events and selected virtual content.
  • Cultivating Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-profile speakers, understanding their expertise and aligning them with the most relevant topics for our audience.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to discern and fulfill members' speaker preferences, ensuring seamless event execution.
  • Seamless Event Delivery: Work closely with event producers to ensure the smooth execution of events, fostering a collaborative and dynamic atmosphere to deliver unparalleled attendee experiences.
  • Local Craftmanship: Collaborate with internal teams to translate the event agenda into compelling speaker narratives that resonate with the market.

Requirements:
  • Background in target-driven commercial roles with direct customer interaction and set deadlines.
  • Proven track record of consistent performance.
  • Good combination of team player, high clock speed to get things done, and ability to calmly navigate multiple ongoing projects.
  • Communicates with confidence, persuasion, and fluency in both Swedish and English (written and spoken).
  • Maintains a tech-savvy curiosity and an active interest in the evolution of technology and its impact on business.
  • Demonstrates a 'can-do' attitude, strong accountability, and a willingness to go the extra mile for excellence.
