Your Role

We are seeking a dynamic, creative and passionate finance professional to join our team. As a Junior Accountant & Finance, you will be mainly responsible for finance daily activities and reporting to headquarters Finance Controller. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the vacation rental industry and be part of the fast growth of our company.

Your Responsibilities

  • Recording and control of accounting operations: Management of journal entries, bank reconciliations, and oversight of invoices (issued and received) to ensure proper accounting of all financial transactions.
  • Management of accounts payable and receivable: Tracking payment deadlines, managing suppliers and customers, and updating records of payments and collections.
  • Support in tax preparation: Assisting in the collection and preparation of necessary documentation for tax filings and ensuring compliance with tax obligations.
  • Preparation of basic financial reports: Assisting in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports as required by the company.
  • Assistance with internal and external audits: Participating in the gathering and preparation of documents required by auditors to ensure transparency and regulatory compliance.
  • General finance: all activities related to general finance such as bank relationship, suppliers, to be the link with other departments.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (must) and familiarity with financial software (SAP/Oracle/Sage).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in finance or accounting is required, preferably with experience at a Big 4 firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting rules and regulations.
  • Spanish (native) and English (professional).
  • A proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and take on new challenges, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to grow within the role.
  • Self-starter, creative, thinking outside the box and willing to support expansion in a fast-growing environment.
