Job Purpose

The Pricing Specialist will play a key role in developing and implementing Vueling's pricing strategies to maximize revenue throughout the network. This will involve working closely with the Revenue Management team to ensure that our pricing structure is aligned with our business objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead pricing projects to ensure successful execution and implementation of pricing strategies.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of pricing-related data to identify opportunities for revenue growth and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the airline's pricing ecosystem, including fare filing, pricing rules, and technical elements.
  • Collaborate with other revenue teams to identify and analyze initiatives that impact pricing.

Main Relationships

The Pricing Specialist will work closely with various teams within Vueling, including Commercial Business Insights, Sales, Digital Marketing, Ancillaries, Networks, Data, IT, and Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of progressive experience in pricing or commercial functions.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and evaluate alternatives.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Python, or SQL is required.

Language Skills

Spanish (C1) and English (B2) are required for this role.
