**Job Summary**
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our data centers, which power hundreds of thousands of businesses worldwide.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support vendors, contractors, and other teams in the construction and commissioning of various systems, including medium and low voltage power systems, generators, UPS, HVAC, chilled water systems, building management systems, and electrical power monitoring systems.
- Provide multi-discipline input into project scheduling, test script development, designing, and planning.
- Review component submittal packages, lead factory witness testing, and perform system-level and integrated system testing.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements during commissioning.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly reports on project status and lessons learned to improve program quality.
**Requirements**
- 7+ years of experience in mission-critical facilities or data center infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
- 5+ years of commissioning experience.
- Certification or training specific to NETA, ASHRAE, or commissioning-specific education courses.
- Competency in both spoken and written Spanish and English.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally for up to 30% of the time.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Advanced knowledge of SharePoint or similar platforms.
