About the Role

Futron Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Technician to join our team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and standards.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with project stakeholders, including government personnel, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols, including the completion of the full 40-hour EM Construction Safety Course.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Extensive Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of facility construction concepts, principles, and practices.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction practices, methods, and management skills, as well as proficiency in Primavera scheduling software.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, with the ability to read, write, and speak effectively.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform strenuous physical activity, work outdoors in extreme temperatures, and use fall protection equipment.
  • Security Clearance: Must successfully pass a required security background investigation.
