Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing health and safety initiatives across all departments, ensuring a safe working environment for employees and clients alike.
Main Responsibilities
- Health and Safety Coordination
Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Environmental and Risk ManagementLead the development and implementation of environmental and risk management projects, focusing on sustainability, carbon reduction, and waste management.
Training and DevelopmentDesign and deliver training programs for employees on health and safety best practices, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and the use of personal protective equipment.
Collaboration and SupportWork closely with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination on health and safety matters, including training on forklift trucks, facility maintenance, and document management.
HR SupportProvide support to the HR department on policies, training, and documentation, ensuring seamless integration with our HR systems.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in health and safety, with a strong environmental background.
- Advanced qualification in Health and Safety in the Workplace.
- Fluency in English.
- Advanced Office 365 automation skills (Excel).
- Driver's license.
- Occasional travel required.
