About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CMOS Physical Design Engineer to join our team at Importante Empresa. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the physical design of sub-blocks and digital tops within image sensors, from synthesis to GDS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement digital circuits, including constraints definition, floorplanning, clock tree, scan insertion, parasitic extraction, physical verification, and chip closure.
  • Define and implement padring, ensuring ESD and electromigration requirements are met.
  • Run static timing analysis, DFT, formal equivalence, IR drop, and static power analysis.
  • Comply with methodology for robustness and DFM.
  • Ensure designs are right first time or that only a metal fix is required.
  • Design circuits for ease of testability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering or Physics, electronics specialty.
  • Good knowledge of CMOS digital design and flow.
  • Good knowledge of Physical Digital Design tools for synthesis, PR;, STA, Power Analysis, IR Drop, Physical verifications.
  • Knowledge of Hardware languages: Verilog and/or VHDL.
  • English: good level written and spoken.
