The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated individual to play a key role in our established team as a Renewable Energy Finance Manager. Based at our Madrid office, you will support the team on the origination and execution of non-recourse project finance renewables transactions and corporate financing transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end process of securing corporate and project financing with different banks and lenders.
- Develop and manage financial models for projects to be financed and perform related sensitivity analysis.
- Support in the structuring and execution of financing transactions and negotiate financing agreements with banks.
- Prepare management presentations using financial models to support investment committees in decision-making.
- Work, monitor, and follow up on due diligence processes required in relation to financing transactions (including coordination with other departments of the company).
- Support loan administration activities for project financing agreements, including supervision of periodic updates of financial models to test ratios and reporting to internal functions of the company.
- At least 5-7 years of relevant experience at a top-rated project finance platform (bank, 'big 4', buyside, and/or strategic).
- Proven track record of managing and executing complex financing transactions, including experience in corporate and project finance.
- High level of financial modeling in project finance and particularly renewables projects.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and coordinating with multiple departments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deal confidently and build relationships with colleagues, advisors, and investors.
- Bilingual and able to conduct business in English and Spanish at the highest standard.
