About the Opportunity

The Medical and Scientific Strategy Consultant will play a key role in helping biopharmaceutical clients create clinical and commercial strategies that deliver differentiated and valuable brands. This role will involve working with a broad mix of projects, including varied therapeutic areas, client sizes, and domestic vs. global reach.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the life sciences/pharmaceutical industry, with experience in consulting or a related field. They will be a fast learner, with strong problem-solving and thinking skills, as well as well-developed verbal and written communication skills.

The Medical and Scientific Strategy Consultant will be responsible for conducting secondary research and value-adding analyses on clinical, commercial, and market topics, as well as conducting primary research with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and biopharmaceutical market experts. They will also develop high-quality, engaging client outputs, including dynamic client workshops.

The role will involve working closely with the Engagement Manager within our team, and will require a strong ability to thrive in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment through efficient planning. The ideal candidate will also have a willingness to take risks, work in a non-hierarchical environment, and take step-up/step-down roles to support strong outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct secondary research and value-adding analyses on clinical, commercial, and market topics
  • Conduct primary research with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and biopharmaceutical market experts
  • Develop high-quality, engaging client outputs, including dynamic client workshops
  • Work closely with the Engagement Manager within our team
  • Thrive in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment through efficient planning
Requirements
  • Strong background in the life sciences/pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in consulting or a related field
  • Fast learner

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
