Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter Property Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in risk management and insurance underwriting, with a focus on property risks.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing innovative and bespoke underwriting services to clients, with a strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

The Underwriter Property Specialist will be responsible for reviewing submissions, conducting research, and calculating risk premiums. They will also be responsible for advising clients on insurance and risk management matters, and for developing high-quality relationships with brokers and clients.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also be able to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing submissions and conducting research to determine risk premiums
  • Advising clients on insurance and risk management matters
  • Developing high-quality relationships with brokers and clients
  • Calculating risk premiums and managing risk exposure
  • Supporting the business planning and forecasting process

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in underwriting or a related field
  • Strong understanding of risk management and insurance underwriting principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
