Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with Human Resources and functional business partners to develop and align talent acquisition strategies, incorporating internal mobility and external talent acquisition through operational excellence.
  2. Market Insights: Lead the team in interpreting internal and external market data to drive meaningful insights, influencing leaders' approaches to specific requisition requirements and overall talent strategies.
  3. Talent Acquisition Operations: Manage day-to-day talent acquisition operations, focusing on quality of hire, cycle time to hire, and candidate experience.
  4. Process Optimization: Utilize multiple data sources to analyze trends, develop, and implement modifications to recruitment processes, including vendor analysis and quarterly vendor performance business reviews.
  5. Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of talent acquisition specialists, creating a positive environment for development and structure to yield best-in-class recruiting capability.
  6. Strategic Recruitment Plans: Assist in creating and executing enterprise-wide strategic recruitment plans in support of operational business initiatives.
  7. Performance Metrics: Establish meaningful recruiting metrics to proactively identify trends in hiring and workforce planning needs, applying insights to improve performance.
  8. Employment Brand: Help identify and implement plans to increase the employment brand for Dakota Plains Cooperative, focusing on hard-to-recruit geographies and key pipeline groups.
  9. Compliance and Diversity: Coach team and hiring managers to ensure adherence to compliant recruiting and hiring practices, identifying potential solutions to challenging situations, and participating in defining and shaping a diversity and inclusion strategy.
  10. Safety Culture: Cultivate and promote a strong safety culture, following all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, and identifying and communicating workplace hazards.
