This is a unique opportunity to join Amazon's Marketplace team as a Senior Category Manager, supporting the growth of Consumables categories in Spain and Europe. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving business insights, developing strategic direction, and leading projects to improve Customer and Seller Experience.
Key Responsibilities- Category Strategy Ownership: Act as the business owner of Consumables category in Spain and projects in Europe, analyzing data trends and developing a complete understanding of KPIs impacting the business.
- Leadership Collaboration: Work closely with European Heads of Seller Services to plan and propose innovative initiatives, features, and solutions.
- Project Management: Lead a variety of projects to drive growth and improve Customer and Seller Experience across Consumables in Europe, partnering with cross-functional teams to prioritize, inform, and analyze initiatives.
- Business Development: Work with direct Selling Partner recruitment teams to identify strategic accounts and improve the customer experience for the category.
- University degree in an analytical field (engineering, statistics, economics, business administration, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in Consulting, Product Management, Finance, Statistics, Analytics, or Business Intelligence roles with extensive quantitative analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Results orientation and good organization skills, with a high degree of ownership and experience managing multiple priorities
- Interest and experience in building and managing projects collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis such as customer segmentation and/or behavior
- Personal initiative and strong hands-on attitude with a results-driven mentality
- MBA from a top-tier business school
- Advanced Excel skills and medium to advanced knowledge of SQL
- Core Program and Project Management skills (stakeholder management, planning, auditing...)
