Postdoctoral Researcher in Biomedical Data Science and Artificial Intelligence

This is a temporary position at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health, a leading research institution in the field of global health. The company is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join their team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement machine learning and deep learning algorithms to enhance clinical decision-making and guide the development of new therapies and diagnostics.
- Conduct high-quality research independently and contribute to the development of robust model training and data infrastructure.
- Publish research results in scientific journals and present at national and international conferences.
- PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field.
- Strong analytics expertise and experience with machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
- Excellent programming skills in Python, R, or Scala, and experience with deep learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Experience with data integration and management, and a strong understanding of data science principles.
- A competitive gross annual salary of 31,000€.
- A temporary contract for 2 years, with 40 hours of work per week.
