Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Innovative Banking Product Owner to join our team at the Valencia tech hub, focused on creating next-generation banking software. As a key member of our pioneering team, you'll contribute to reshaping the banking industry.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Define and Prioritize Product Features: Clearly define, prioritize, and manage IT product and feature development to align with business objectives and deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Translate Requirements into Specifications: Convert high-level business requirements into detailed specifications and actionable user stories, ensuring clarity and focus for the development team.
  • Develop and Execute Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a product roadmap that reflects customer needs, market trends, and business priorities, with a strong emphasis on speed to market.
  • Lead Sprint Planning and Execution: Facilitate sprint planning sessions, set priorities, and ensure alignment with the product roadmap to drive efficient and effective product development.
  • Monitor and Optimize Development Progress: Track product development progress, making data-driven adjustments and decisions to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven Experience: 4-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in Agile software development environments.
  • Agile Methodologies Expertise: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with hands-on experience using Agile tools like JIRA to effectively manage and execute development cycles.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with banking operations and asset management systems is a plus, with a demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge in product development.
