Your main responsibilities will be:

  1. Define and Prioritize Product Features: Clearly define, prioritize, and manage the development of IT products and features to align with business objectives and deliver exceptional user experiences.
  2. Translate Requirements into Specifications: Convert high-level business requirements into detailed specifications and actionable user stories, ensuring clarity and focus for the development team.
  3. Develop and Execute Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a product roadmap that reflects customer needs, market trends, and business priorities, with a strong emphasis on speed to market.
  4. Lead Sprint Planning and Execution: Facilitate sprint planning sessions, set priorities, and ensure alignment with the product roadmap to drive efficient and effective product development.
  5. Monitor and Optimize Development Progress: Track the progress of product development, making data-driven adjustments and decisions to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Required Skills:

  1. Proven Experience: 4-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in Agile software development environments.
  2. Experience within the banking or financial services industry, particularly with asset management systems, is advantageous.
  3. Agile Methodologies Expertise: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with hands-on experience using Agile tools like JIRA to effectively manage and execute development cycles.
  4. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with banking operations and asset management systems is a plus, with a demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge in product development.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certifications are a plus.
  3. Language Skills: Fluency in English (at least B2) is essential. Proficiency in German is a plus.
  4. Strong Team Player: Demonstrates the ability to excel in collaborative environments, effectively working with geographically distributed teams.
  5. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Possesses solid analytical abilities and problem-solving skills to address complex issues and deliver high-impact solutions.
  6. Proactive Communicator: Clearly articulates ideas, decisions, and strategies, ensuring alignment and understanding across all stakeholders.
  7. Results-Oriented and Delivery-Focused: Committed to achieving operational excellence by prioritizing tasks that drive the most value and ensuring timely delivery.
  8. Adaptable and Flexible: Quickly adjusts to changes, continuously improving processes and embracing new approaches to enhance product outcomes.
  9. Well-Organized and Time Management: Demonstrates strong organizational skills, manages time effectively, and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines and drive results.
  10. Innovation and Creativity: Contributes to innovative thinking and brings fresh ideas to improve product features and overall user experience.
