Senior Quantitative Risk Specialist, Capital Markets

We are seeking an experienced quant profile with proven financial/real estate risk and quantitative/data skills to join our Risk Advisory team and be part of the creation and growth of new processes, ways of applying Capital Markets Group (CMG) tech tools and quantitative models to originate and deliver projects to maximize performance of our existing global business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Risk Advisory team to execute projects leveraging CMG data and risk quantitative models within the CMG innovation framework.
  • Identify and connect suitable and relevant internal/external real estate databases to enrich the platform, including data ingestion from clients.
  • Build prototypes/proof of concept solutions to generate bespoke solutions and ideas for our strategic clients.
  • Pro-active ideation of solutions to improve the platform, including independent, creative problem-solving to address technical challenges.
  • Educate and drive adoption of data-driven processes, including collecting business requirements and acting as a strategic business partner and liaison for the real estate profiles in the Risk Advisory team.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in financial risk and/or real estate consultancy will be highly relevant.
  • Strong quantitative background in data analytical skills (3 – 5 years' experience).
  • Experience analyzing business processes and procedures to test and improve business operations via big data and technology.
  • SQL, Python (or similar) and Excel are essential.
  • Pyspark, Databricks would be a plus.
  • Solid project management and execution skills, experience working in an autonomous and fast-changing environment.
