Primary Objectives of the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Design and Technical Services Corporate Team as a Trainee. The successful candidate will support the team in various aspects of project design and development, including project reporting, budget verification, and coordination. This is an excellent opportunity to develop project management skills and gain experience in hospitality projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare executive reports on projects using various tools and software.
  2. Analyze business development projects and develop layout adjustments to meet client requirements.
  3. Coordinate information from multiple stakeholders, including hotels and external consultants.
  4. Support external consultants with necessary materials and feedback.
  5. Punctually coordinate information with different stakeholders to ensure project success.
  6. Report and coordinate with consultants for hotel openings or repositioning.
  7. Collaborate with Interior Designers to achieve quality and cost objectives for EMEA projects.
  8. Support the central office team with daily tasks and responsibilities.
  9. Interpret design drawings and specifications for approval.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Must be enrolled in a school program to be eligible for the internship (Traineeship Agreement Required).
  2. Fluent knowledge of English (C2), verbally and in writing. Written English is at reporting level.
  3. Other languages like German or French are a plus.
  4. Knowledge of reporting processes and following up processes.
  5. Ability to coordinate with multiple parties to meet conditions of performance and agreements.
  6. Basic knowledge of design and construction processes.
  7. Basic knowledge of construction materials & quality conditions.
  8. Understanding of budgets related to the scope of work.
  9. Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Autocad, and Microsoft Office Products.
  10. Work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  11. Work independently and remotely for short periods.
  12. Willing to travel.
  13. An independent working style.
  14. Preferably previous experience in the hospitality industry.
