Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Junior Structural Analysis Engineer to join our mechanical department and contribute to the development of our flagship aerospike system, the ARCOS engine.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct static and dynamic analysis utilizing finite element analysis (FEA) tools to ensure the structural integrity of our rocket engines.
- Collaborate with design engineers to implement recommended changes into their designs.
- Develop and maintain technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to advance Pangea's propulsion systems.
- Bachelor's degree in aeronautical/astronautical, aerospace, or mechanical engineering.
- Experience with advanced commercial FEA software, preferably Abaqus.
- Strong command of FEA software and experience in structures dynamic analysis and dynamic environment specification.
- Fluent English, Spanish is a plus.
- MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar engineering field.
- Deep knowledge of structural dynamic environment.
- Experience assisting in vibration tests and post-processing.
- Experience with dedicated meshing tools.
- Experience with thermo-mechanical and nonlinear analysis.
- CAD experience, preferably using Siemens NX.
- Programming skills, e.g. Python or MATLAB.
