Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Specialist to join our team in Bilbao. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring global treasury back-office activities, including daily cash management and internal treasury company accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Management
Verify bank statements and reconcile balances to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Treasury Transactions
Collect, reconcile, and resolve bank abnormalities related to interests, guarantees, and bank costs.
Cash Pools and Treasury Transactions
Manage cash pools, open, close, and move accounts, and oversee treasury transactions initiated by the group.
Treasury Reporting
Ensure compliance with external treasury reporting requirements.
Treasury Accounting
Account for treasury transactions in the ERP system, including fees on funding, interest on loans, and revaluation of balance sheet items in foreign currencies.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a related field.
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role with proven experience in treasury accounting under IFRS.
Skills
Accuracy, focus on process improvement, good communication skills, and a proactive approach.
Language
Oral and written fluency in English and Spanish.
