Job Title: Head of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs

British American Tobacco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our corporate and regulatory affairs efforts in Iberia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the company's regulatory approach is aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory matters to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory considerations are integrated into business decisions.
  • Lead the development of effective communication strategies to engage with stakeholders and promote the company's interests.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in government and regulatory affairs, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish and European regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide expert advice on complex regulatory matters.
