The EHS Specialist will play a crucial role in guiding our local service organizations across EMEA to ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing a Donaldson safety environment and behavior
  • Ensuring the use of necessary safety instruments (PPE, training, certifications, incident registration and follow-up)
  • Conducting risk analysis for specific service activities
  • Aligning development targets and objectives with overall environmental, health and safety strategies

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS and experience in implementing and sustaining EHS programs. They will be responsible for reporting to the Senior Service Manager of the EMEA Service Support Group.

This position can be based in our EMEA HQ in Belgium (Leuven) or any of our offices in Germany (Haan), Spain (Terrassa), Italy (Opera) or France (Vigny).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Environmental, Health and Safety performance of the EMEA Service organization
  • Create and maintain tools to ensure full safety compliance of our service teams
  • Ensure conformance to the Donaldson EHS Framework and compliance to Local regulatory requirements
  • Guide, support, and provide tools to the service leaders on how to change mindsets, practices, and manage risk to improve employee and environmental safety and wellbeing

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant area
  • Level 2 Prevention Advisor certificate or an equivalent EHS education/certification in an EU country
