About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance and Legal Specialist to join our team in Madrid, Spain. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safeguarding the company from business ethics and reputational risks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high standards of Business Ethics and Compliance policies and procedures within the country and facilitate their effective implementation.
  • Network internally and externally and liaise with other business partners and external stakeholders to ensure a harmonized and effective approach to Business Ethics/Compliance within the country.
  • Provide high-quality advice on Business Ethics and Compliance issues and local support to staff and relevant business entities by training, advice, communication, and other methods as appropriate.
  • Advising on strategic and operational Business Ethics and Compliance issues, including compliance risk assessment, compliance strategy and policy, compliance training and education, and manage handle and report compliance investigations as appropriate.
  • Provide fast, effective, high-quality, and business-oriented legal support to the Spanish affiliate.

Requirements

  • You have a double Degree in Law and Business Administration.
  • At least 5 years of on-the-job legal and compliance experience in the healthcare industry.
  • A strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and standards.
  • Excellent communication, proactivity, and negotiation skills.
  • An advanced user of IT Tools (Pivot tables, Power BI, AI tools, etc.).
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Spanish and English.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is approximately €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
