Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project SCADA Engineer to join our Network Control team at Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U. in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering SCADA system applications to our customers in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers' SCADA experts to configure SCADA applications and meet their requirements.
  • Support customers in developing efficient workflow integrations between SCADA systems and other IT/OT systems.
  • Plan and conduct tests to ensure system compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Train customers on SCADA system operation and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate and drive technical problem-solving with our team.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on energy systems and electrical power networks.
  • Experience in SCADA systems business.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in integration technologies like CIM Data Modelling, CIM Messaging, OPC UA, REST APIs, Kafka, etc.
  • Programming skills in C/C++, C#, Python.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
