We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our team of software engineers. Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead teams of engineers, ranging from graduate to senior, including contractors, and develop your engineering managers to maintain our company culture.
- Project Management: Oversee engineering projects from conception through to completion, planning, managing, and driving projects, creating project timelines, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring that we meet deadlines and stay within budget.
- Staffing and Development: Hire staff-level engineers for specific roles like performance and quality, coach, mentor, and offer career development feedback to our engineers.
- Team Health and Productivity: Identify and measure indicators of team health and productivity, and ensure rounded delivery including community participation and documentation.
- Process Implementation: Implement disciplined engineering processes and defend them, set and measure progress against benchmark goals for speed and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Representation: Represent your product to stakeholders, partners, and customers, and develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices.
- Leadership Collaboration: Be an active part of the leadership team, collaborating with other leaders, and collaborate with leads for related or dependent products.
- Proven Track Record: Proven track record of architecting and engineering world-class, large-scale enterprise or commercial applications and services.
- Technical Expertise: Experience with any framework: Vue, Angular, React, and proficiency in one or more system-level programming languages (PHP, Java, Python, etc.) and a willingness to learn new ones.
- Leadership Experience: Experience leading teams of engineers in delivering high-quality software, and a deep understanding of data structures.
- Collaboration and Communication: Proven track record of effectively collaborating with globally distributed teams, and outstanding teamwork and communication skills.
