About the Role
As a key member of our Customer Engagement Platforms – Digital Marketing team at Novartis Farmacéutica, the Marketing Cloud Technical Design Architect plays a crucial role in transforming business requirements into IT solution design specifications. This ensures that customer expectations are met while maintaining solutions that are safe, reliable, scalable, and flexible.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the delivery of professional and reliable technology solutions for business systems, platforms, and processes.
- Partner with business customers and Strategic Business Partners to analyze demand, propose and evaluate solutions, and estimate funding.
- Deliver and partner in Rapid-Prototyping and Demand engagements to enable partners to understand how the platform ecosystem can fulfill business needs.
- Design and architect enterprise-grade solutions with improved re-usability, configurability, and scalability.
- Ensure efficient DevSecOps for platforms, products, or systems, guaranteeing availability and optimal performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging practices to drive agility, speed, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to Security and Compliance policies and procedures, as well as Novartis guidelines and standards.
Requirements
- University degree in a business or technical area, or equivalent, with 8+ years of experience in a Solution Design or equivalent role, including 3 years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Significant experience in a similar role with a proven track record in managing global and large-scale Marketing Automation projects.
- Strong practical development knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketing Cloud Integrations, Integration Design, Data Modelling, AMPScript, SQL, and Data Mapping.
- Conceptual knowledge of Marketing automation and Campaign Design, Identify resolution, Customer Intent funnel, Programmatic and Predictive Personalization.
- Proven capacity to respond to changes, deal with uncertainty, and proactively resolve issues to deliver the best possible outcome under tight timelines.
- Knowledge of tools that integrate with Marketing Cloud, such as Data Cloud, CDP, MCP, MCI, Google Analytics, Salesforce CRM, MDM, Snowflake, etc.
- Proven track record in large, preferably global, multi-team projects dealing with complex process areas and business groups, with experience in a Life Science or highly regulated environment an advantage.
