**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in Valencia. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing standard biology laboratory techniques, including laboratory math, pipetting, and buffer preparation. Key tasks include:

  • Executing molecular biology techniques, including RNA/DNA extraction (manual and automated), nucleic acid quantification, PCR, RT-PCR, MLPA techniques, and sample library preparation for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS).
  • Operating and maintaining NGS platforms (Thermo Fisher and Illumina).
  • Ensuring daily setup and maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in molecular biology techniques and standard laboratory practices.
