About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer to join our team in Cordoba, Spain. As a member of our Technology Center South Europe, you will contribute to the execution of projects involving diverse simulation types in power transformers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new technologies, products, and processes for both core and shell type transformers.
  • Lead and manage R&D projects, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality execution.
  • Maintain and develop technical standards and design tools for transformers.
  • Transfer knowledge and findings through reports, specifications, and educational programs.
  • Assess production processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support factories in troubleshooting and expertise.
  • Develop and expand relationships with stakeholders, internal functions, and external parties.
Requirements
  • Master's or PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • More than 3 years of experience in R&D projects, engineering, or university research.
  • Proficiency in CAD modeling software and advanced numerical simulations.
  • Knowledge of 3D printing techniques and excellent teamwork skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a structured problem-solving approach.
  • Spirit of innovation and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish.
