Backend Engineer

At Embat, we're building a financial management platform that empowers businesses to make informed decisions. We're looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our platform.

About the Role

We're seeking a talented Backend Engineer with a strong background in software development and a passion for building scalable and secure systems. As a Backend Engineer at Embat, you'll work closely with our development team, product managers, and designers to design, develop, and maintain our APIs and web applications.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable and secure APIs and web applications
  • Collaborate with the development team to ideate and build new features
  • Work with product managers to understand business requirements and develop solutions
  • Test and debug code to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Contribute to the development of our CI/CD pipeline and monitoring practices
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience as a Backend or Full Stack engineer using Javascript/Typescript
  • Experience scaling distributed systems with large data volumes
  • Strong knowledge of software architecture design patterns and coding best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
