**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled SCADA Applications Specialist to join our Polish Operation Center team in Krakow. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering SCADA systems and applications globally.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver configured systems using Network Control approved product implementation standards.
- Acquire working knowledge of regional market needs.
- Help drive standardization in the delivery process.
- Ensure adequate documentation of required processes and practices.
- Gather and validate data required to configure NM SCADA applications.
- Provide technical assistance in evaluating performance and results of SCADA applications, systems, and procedures.
- Write and maintain functional specifications for new or modified business systems.
- Translate business models into an information system representation.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement plans to test business and functional processes.
- Conduct tests of system functions, validate results, detect errors, and coordinate resolution of identified problems.
- Perform testing and root cause analysis tasks according to the organization's quality process.
- Provide problem-solving, technical, and business expertise in the design, testing, and deployment of business applications.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or computer science field and 2+ years of experience in the IT/IS industry in a technical support or consulting role.
- Knowledge of the Open Systems Interconnection model (OSI) and data transmission and communication.
- Knowledge of programming languages like C++, C# or scripting languages like Python.
- Knowledge of industry-standard communication protocols such as DNP, IEC870.5, TASE.2, and others is preferred.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and data modeling.
- Excellent computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Visio.
- A basic understanding of Operating systems (Windows and Linux).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
**Desirable Qualifications**
- A Master's degree in a technical field or specific experience with SCADA systems is a plus.
- Experience with SCADA, EMS, or DMS systems or similar.
- Knowledge of industry model standards such as the Common Information Model (CIM) standard is a plus.
