Rolling Stock Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Rolling Stock Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our Services Site, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of our products at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out maintenance activities of the Rolling Stock, including corrective and preventive maintenance, fleet check activities, and interventions in maintenance workshops and parking yards.
- Report and register any deviations (failures/events) in the Failure Management database, including configuration data.
- Support operations by performing data analysis using HealthHub, the Alstom platform for collecting, processing, and analyzing data produced by the maintained assets.
- Open and manage corrective Service Orders in the Maintenance Management System.
- Apply and enforce Alstom and customer EHS and security rules and relevant PI processes on customer sites.
- Execute test and troubleshooting procedures to evaluate system performance and perform failure analysis on parts to be returned for repair.
- Support Implementation Field Modifications (FM operator) and specific technical investigations by Engineering or internal/external Suppliers.
- Recommend preventative and corrective actions, and instruct and direct operators in field modification and repairs if needed.
- Advise PI management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product enhancements.
- Ensure good information flow about interventions and operations within Troubleshooting to support shift transition, if needed.
- Lead Troubleshooter team, if needed, and conduct peer reviews of PI activities and provide technical leadership if requested.
- Contribute to Return of Experience.
- Certified Technician or Undergraduate in a technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics).
- Minimum IT knowledge and internal EHS training.
- Desirable: Graduate in a technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics), fluent English reading and writing, and able to follow a technical conversation.
- Technical troubleshooting/investigation/testing experience (mechanical or electrical/electronic), field experience, EHS knowledge and exposure, and railways product knowledge.
We are looking for candidates with excellent language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
