Job Title: Product Data Analyst

At Sesame HR, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Data Analyst to join our team in Valencia. As a Product Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in defining, implementing, and analyzing key events that provide valuable information about the usage of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement events in Amplitude JS to track user behavior and product performance.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure correct event implementation and data accuracy.
  • Perform in-depth analysis using SQL and work directly with databases to obtain precise information about feature adoption and product usage.
  • Generate regular reports on key product metrics (KPIs) and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Optimize and automate SQL queries to improve data extraction efficiency and support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Development) to understand data analysis needs and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Lead A/B experimentation to validate product improvements and analyze results to optimize user experience.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to track KPIs in real-time.
  • Use advanced analytics tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to monitor user behavior across all digital properties.
  • Ensure correct integration and data flow between ETL tools and company databases.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Data Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a SaaS company.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, including writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
  • Experience in defining and implementing events in Amplitude JS or similar product analytics tools.
  • Ability to convert event data into actionable insights that improve product performance and adoption.
  • Strong storytelling skills to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in companies with technology or SaaS in expansion phase.
  • Knowledge of agile product development methodologies.
  • Experience in automating data analysis and data flow processes.
