Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our Labour Relations department at Applus IDIADA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient and excellent service support in labor relations and payroll responsibilities to the Corporate Areas in HQ.
This role involves:
- Ensuring key costs are correctly tracked and recorded, acting as a central point of contact to address any questions and challenges that may arise.
- Contributing to shaping and implementing the global pay review and variable pay process, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the reward governance framework.
- Ownership of the payroll processing cycle for a country or a company, depending on size and complexity.
- Payroll balances and controls at input and output (Source to Gross, Gross to Net).
- Payroll Accounting support.
- Complex payroll queries & escalations.
- Point of contact for stakeholders (Benefits, Compensation, Stock Options, HR Services, Local HR, Recruitment, Accounting, Treasury and others).
- Projects: process improvement.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Spanish Payroll.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Good analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to details.
- Experience with Spanish Labor Code, Taxation, Social Security System.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of personal income tax legislation, labor law.
- Familiar with SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, ADP software.
- Experience with process transitions.
- Sense of innovation.
