Job Title: Payroll Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our Labour Relations department at Applus IDIADA. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for providing efficient and excellent service support in labor relations and payroll responsibilities to the Corporate Areas in HQ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that key costs (e.g. bonus accrual, salary levels) are correctly tracked and recorded, acting as a central point of contact to address any questions and challenges that may arise.
- Contribute to shaping and implementing the global pay review and variable pay process, ensuring that the process is compliant with the requirements of the reward governance framework.
- Own the payroll processing cycle for a country or a company depending on size and complexity.
- PAYROLL BALANCES AND CONTROLS AT INPUT AND OUTPUT (SOURCE TO GROSS, GROSS TO NET).
- PAYROLL ACCOUNTING SUPPORT.
- COMPLEX PAYROLL QUERIES & ESCALATIONS.
- POINT OF CONTACT FOR STAKEHOLDERS (BENEFITS, COMPENSATION, STOCK OPTIONS, HR SERVICES, LOCAL HR, RECRUITMENT, ACCOUNTING, TREASURY AND OTHERS).
- PROJECTS: PROCESS IMPROVEMENT.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Spanish Payroll.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Good analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to details.
- Experience with Spanish Labor Code, Taxation, Social Security System.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of personal income tax legislation, labor law.
- Familiar with SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, ADP software.
- Experience with process transitions.
- Sense of innovation.
