Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our main product.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing needs and automate testing processes
  • Design and develop automated functional tests to verify the functionality, usability, performance, and reliability of software applications
  • Help define and maintain the QA tools and testing framework, and assist with the installation of nightly builds or other CI phases
  • Develop test plans based on feature requirements and application behavior to ensure software quality
  • Continuously enhance and optimize testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to software quality assurance, and share knowledge within the team
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role in a software development environment
  • Familiarity with programming languages, including Java and at least one other language
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Karate Framework, TestNG, Junit, Cucumber, REST Assured, or similar
  • Experience consuming different APIs for development
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Swagger
  • High level of expertise in Maven and project configuration, knowledge of Maven plugins
  • Strong knowledge of SQL queries
  • Knowledge of distributed version control system (e.g., Git)
