About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team at Amaris Consulting. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of our software applications.
  • Automate test cases using Pytest, Cypress, and other relevant tools to improve efficiency and reduce testing time.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
  • Document defects, test results, and quality metrics in Jira and maintain test documentation and knowledge base in Confluence.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and tools, and participate in code reviews to contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and infrastructure.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience as a QA Tester or Test Engineer.
  • Proven experience with Pytest, Boto3, Python, Angular, Cypress, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Strong proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Good understanding of web technologies and frameworks, particularly Angular.
  • Experience with API testing and automation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
