Job Title: QA Automation Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Lead to join our team at Capitole Consulting. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for leading the development, planning, and execution of comprehensive test strategies for the integration of our systems with SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and performance of integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP experts, developers, and business analysts, to fully understand system functionalities and integration points.
  • Manually execute integration test cases, perform validation, and analyze results to identify, report, and track defects.
  • Ensure test coverage of all SAP integration points, including data flows, APIs, and business processes.
  • Focus on security and data integrity in all testing activities related to the integration with SAP.
  • Identify potential improvements in testing frameworks to enhance manual testing practices, particularly in the context of SAP integration.
  • Stay up-to-date with SAP-related developments and ensure testing activities align with the latest features and integration requirements.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with the QA team on best practices in manual testing, particularly in the context of system integrations and ISTQB standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in QA, with a strong emphasis on manual testing and system integration.
  • Demonstrated experience leading testing efforts for enterprise-level software integrations, particularly with SAP is a plus.
  • ISTQB certification or a similar qualification is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish.
  • Experience in creating and executing detailed test plans, especially for system integrations.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and the specific challenges of testing in an integrated environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
