Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Artist to join our team at Connaxis. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in generating accurate printer files for direct mail projects, ensuring precise artwork that achieves impactful print results.
As a Senior Production Artist, you will work closely with our Production Manager to support the development of donor-centric, insight-driven, integrated creative solutions. You will collaborate with team members to produce accurate and effective high-quality direct mail materials, create and manage art files for production, and set up and prepare flawless print-ready files that maintain client and agency brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the team and Production Managers to support the development of donor-centric, insight-driven, integrated creative solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to produce accurate and effective high-quality direct mail materials.
- Create, update, manage and release art files for production.
- Set-up and prepare flawless print-ready files that correctly maintain client and agency brand standards, as well as create comps, mock-ups, and other presentation materials.
- Work closely with Production Manager to ensure that all projects are produced to conform to approved printer specifications and honor time and budget constraints.
- Assist Associate Creative Director and Art Director with specific production-oriented tasks to ensure deadlines are met and quality is high.
Requirements:
- English Language (Advanced - Bilingual) Required.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail in the execution of your work.
- Enjoy a challenging and dynamic work environment.
- Shows a high work ethic and professionalism with a team-player approach.
- Ability for self-assessment and thorough review to ensure accuracy in deliverables.
- Portfolio showcasing production examples demonstrating excellent craftsmanship.
- Ability to work and collaborate effectively both remotely and in the office.
Education and Experience:
We are looking for an individual with an Associates Degree, Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree or equivalent with courses in graphic design/typography/visual communications, and a minimum of five years' experience, ideally in an agency environment, holding a Production Artist position. Highly proficient PC or Mac computer skills, especially with Adobe Creative Suite, are required. Experience working with Asana and MS Teams is a plus.
