Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Artist - Character Effects to join our team. As a CFX Senior Artist, you will be responsible for developing hair and cloth dynamic rigs for characters and executing CFX work in shots, including character simulations, geometry correctives, and groom correctives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality hair simulation rigs.
  • Develop and implement cloth simulation rigs.
  • Execute CFX work in shots, including character simulations, geometry correctives, and groom correctives.
  • Stay up-to-date with current artistic methodologies and technology trends to enhance the production and company.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental tools and techniques.
  • Work within the established pipeline.
  • Provide support, guidance, and instruction to team members to contribute to their artistic and professional growth.
  • Follow the guidance of the Supervisor and Lead.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the VFX or animation industries.
  • 3+ years of experience in the animation industry.
  • Strong artistic or technical aptitude related to 3D animation.
  • High level of knowledge of Houdini/Vellum, with at least one production experience in a Houdini pipeline.
  • Marvelous Designer knowledge is a plus.
  • High English level desirable.
  • Spanish desirable.
