European IT Infrastructure Engineer

About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a solid understanding of standard business drivers. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer Communications Europe, you will work closely with various IT and business teams, providing support in mail, mobile devices, VoIP infrastructure, Teams Audio/Video and Rooms, and Teams devices, O365 user lifecycle.
Responsibilities:- Implement and upgrade European IT Communications projects, coordinating with IT colleagues.
- Present project status and results to colleagues and middle management.
- Train colleagues in new technologies implemented by the European Communications team.
- Develop comprehensive documentation and procedures for IT engineers and end-users.
- Identify issues throughout the IT team's responsibility area and recommend mitigating measures.
- Provide second-level support, interacting directly with international end-users.
- Solve complex technical and organizational problems.
- Support the Communications team by creating operating procedures and coaching other team members.
- Continuously strive to improve IT team effectiveness by recommending policies and process modifications.
- Work under minimal supervision, enjoy working in a multicultural and diverse organization, and manage customer relationships to achieve the best results.
- Maintain good working relationships with service providers, vendors, and contractors to ensure services meet expected requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent through experience.
- 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, with a focus on support in large client environments.
- Good knowledge of mail and smtp standards.
- Good knowledge of Teams phone systems, with valuable experience in SBC knowledge.
- Good knowledge of Cloud Contact Centers, with valuable experience in Luware.
- Knowledge and experience with AD, O365 administration (Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, Azure AD), and PowerShell scripting.
- Ability to lead international projects, manage and align activities between project members and stakeholders, and maintain deadlines and planning while working on multiple projects.
- Experience working in international teams.
- Ability to handle unexpected high-priority workloads and plan accordingly.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Occasional international travel required.
- Strong knowledge of the English language is a requirement, with other EU languages a plus.
