Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Manager to join our team.
Main Responsibilities
- Operations & Maintenance: Effectively manage facility maintenance for all Security systems, direct, and train operations teams to achieve service availability objectives of 99.999% or better.
- Team Support: Oversee operations teams' workloads to ensure customer service delivery time frames are safely met. Manage QA/QC and employee training processes to deliver a high-quality product and ensure customer exceptions are regularly met.
- Standards & Procedures: Maintain consistency in the administration and enforcement of Equinix security policies and standard operating procedures, providing ongoing review, insight, and improvements to policy documents.
- Incident Management: Provide 24x7, 365 response on an as-needed basis to emergencies such as security system failures, alarms, customer escalations, severe weather, etc. Provide timely incident and security breach investigation, communication, escalation, and remedial action plans when necessary.
- Project Support: Work closely with the Research and Design groups for the development and implementation of new security technologies and the successful construction of new Equinix data centers. Manage multiple concurrent security projects and work in a team environment.
