Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant I, Finance Specialist to join our team at Fairfield Inn & Suites Savannah I95 South. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting activities related to consolidation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support business consolidation closure by running interfaces between local ERP and Lucanet
  • Collaborate with local entities to load data into Lucanet, where Microsoft D365 has not been rolled out yet
  • Update views and FX in Lucanet and CoA under supervision and in collaboration with the controlling team
  • Collaborate with all affiliates in relation to the month-end closure process under supervision and in collaboration with the controlling team
  • Collaborate with the resolution of issues related to ICO differences together with PharmaLex entities and other colleagues in the SSC
  • Assemble documents for computer input, verifying accuracy of itemized charges, account numbers, and total costs
  • Monitor month-end process, including monthly reporting KPI (timeliness and quality of the reporting)
  • Maintain records through filing, retrieval, retention, storage, compilation, coding, updating, and purging
  • Respond to inquiries, check accounting transactions to locate and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports
  • Prepare monthly management reports and schedules

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance and Accounting
  • Ideally, 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in comparable activities within a large organization
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and possible Microsoft Dynamics experience
  • Attention to detail, able to work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to interact with a large number of stakeholders
  • Lucanet knowledge is a strong plus
  • Fluent English is required. Knowledge of other European languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian) is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
