Purchase to Pay Accountant Role

We are seeking an experienced Purchase to Pay Accountant to join our team in Alcobendas, Madrid. As a Purchase to Pay Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting business operations within the Purchase to Pay process
  • Following up and monitoring outsourced Purchase to Pay activities
  • Ensuring the quality of master data about our suppliers from a financial perspective
  • Handling payment reminders and contact with suppliers as a second point of contact
  • Carrying out ad hoc and monthly analysis of Purchase to Pay processes and DPO
  • Responsible for the reconciliation of GR/IR
  • Troubleshooting of internal and suppliers' invoices
  • Performing Purchase to Pay closing and reporting activities
  • Continuous improvements to align our processes between all entities in our scope
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An experienced accountant with a degree in Business Administration/Accounting or similar working experience
  • A high level of English (C1 minimum)
  • French and/or Italian desirable
  • Be curious, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Hands-on and team player mindset
  • Prior experience from working in SAP or similar ERP
