Caspio Sales Engineer Job Description

Caspio is seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to collaborate with our sales team and provide technical guidance during the sales process. As a Sales Engineer, you will work closely with sales representatives to understand customer needs and map them to Caspio's capabilities, providing potential solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to perform discovery of customer objectives and map their needs to Caspio's capabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to sales representatives during the sales process.
  • Perform product demos and create proofs of concept to showcase Caspio's capabilities.
  • Address technical questions and respond to security questionnaires to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with various customer-facing departments to ensure customers can envision and plan out bigger projects and expand the use of the Caspio platform.
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in a software engineer or technical sales representative role.
  • Demonstrated technical skills in HTML and databases.
  • Experience with web development tools and scripting languages (PHP, ASP, JavaScript, and DHTML).
  • Strong technical knowledge of web-based software systems.
  • Exceptional ability to translate customer needs into application solutions.
  • Strong ability to build and grow relationships with prospects and customers.
  • Clear and effective English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical information in a clear, concise, and personable manner to customers.
