English Teacher Opportunity at Runnymede College

We are seeking an exceptional English teacher to join our team at Runnymede College in Madrid, Spain. The successful candidate will be passionate about English and committed to achieving the very best for our students.

The ideal candidate will have a good honours degree from a British University, a PGCE or equivalent qualified teacher status for English teaching, and excellent teamwork skills. They will be able to engage and motivate students using effective methods of teaching and differentiation.

The successful applicant will have:

  • a good honours degree from a British University
  • a PGCE or equivalent qualified teacher status for English teaching
  • excellent teamwork skills and be willing to collaborate on planning and resourcing
  • the ability to modify learning strategies to target the needs of individual students
  • high expectations of students' effort and behaviour, and facilitate this with proven classroom management skills
  • be organised and able to prioritise to meet deadlines
  • be motivated and use initiative to contribute to the success of the department
  • be a native level English speaker
  • have a good working knowledge of ICT systems and the application of ICT in the classroom
