Job Title: Teacher of English

We are seeking an exceptional English teacher to join our team at Runnymede College in Madrid, Spain. As a teacher of English, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students of all ages and nationalities.

About the Role:
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students of English as a first or second language
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Good honours degree from a British University
  • PGCE or equivalent qualified teacher status for English teaching
  • Excellent teamwork skills and ability to collaborate on planning and resourcing
  • Ability to modify learning strategies to target the needs of individual students
  • High expectations of pupils' effort and behaviour, with proven classroom management skills
  • Organised and able to prioritise to meet deadlines
  • Motivated and use initiative to contribute to the success of the department
  • Native level English speaker
  • Good working knowledge of ICT systems and the application of ICT in the classroom
Desirable Criteria:
  • Previous experience of an international school
  • Recent experience as a teacher in a school in the UK
