We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EHS Specialist to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
Job Description- Develop and implement effective EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating risks to personnel and the environment.
- Collaborate with site management to identify and implement opportunities for improvement in EHS performance.
- Maintain accurate records of EHS incidents, injuries, and illnesses, and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to site staff on EHS matters, including training and awareness programs.
- Work closely with contractors and vendors to ensure they meet EHS standards and regulations.
- Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Proven track record of improving EHS performance and reducing accidents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, pension plan, and paid time off.
