Job Summary:

The Publicity Trainee will support the Publicity Department in various tasks, including media relations, event planning, and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the media environment and be fluent in English.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Media Relations: Assist in the daily follow-up of press appearances and preparation of press clippings.
  2. Premiere and Coverage Reports: Prepare reports for each film, including premiere and coverage details.
  3. Virtual Press Room Management: Manage the virtual press room, ensuring all necessary materials are available.
  4. Press Screening Coordination: Coordinate press screenings and ensure all necessary arrangements are made.
  5. Press Materials Coordination: Coordinate the distribution of press materials to media outlets.
  6. Supplier Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  7. Online Communication and Social Media: Assist in managing the online communication plan and social media presence.
  8. Department Support: Provide administrative support to the Publicity Department, including relationship management, screenings, and press conferences.
  9. Administrative Tasks: Assist the Publicity Manager with administrative tasks, including invoice tracking and SAP system management.
  10. Marketing Department Support: Provide support to other areas of the marketing department as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: University degree in Journalism, Communication, or Marketing.
  2. Media Environment Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Spanish media environment.
  3. Language Skills: Fluency in English.
  4. Cinematographic Sector Knowledge: Interest and knowledge of the cinematographic sector.
  5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and knowledge of Internet and social media tools.
  6. Availability: Availability to work full-time.
  7. Personal Qualities: Proactive, communicative, and a strong team player with creative and excellent organizational skills.
  8. Time Management: Excellent ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  9. Recent Graduates: Recent graduates (less than 3 years ago) are encouraged to apply.
