Job Summary

As a Business Systems Analyst at Copyright Clearance Center, you will play a crucial role in enabling business change and enterprise technology projects. You will partner with the Product Owner to understand business benefits and align product vision and strategy, ensuring the process supports delivery of the vision.

Key Responsibilities

Elicit, validate, and document business requirements to support complex software development projects.
Communicate requirements backlog to the broader lean-agile team and serve as a bridge between the business and Engineering, ensuring business requirements are met and linked to identified Business Benefits Analysis.
Work closely with Product Management/Product Owner to manage and refine requirements backlogs and aid in backlog prioritization.
Contribute to successful planning and implementations, including business process integration and the design and delivery of end-user training.
Produce supporting internal documentation for process changes and application use.
Support outward-facing engagements, aiding in preparing schedules, templates, and processes to support successful elicitation events.
Present CCC intellectual property as part of Solution Design in outward-facing contexts.
Work closely with the Agile team, communicating and applying CCC lean-agile guidelines.
Deliver informative, well-organized presentations, usually to internal stakeholders, to facilitate requirements elicitation, business prioritization, and decision making.

Requirements

4-6 years' experience as a Business Analyst
Demonstrable experience with complex application development throughout the software development life cycle
SAFe understanding highly desirable
Demonstrable experience in best practice management of a backlog of business requirements
Experience in creating supporting artefacts (Wireframes, Data Dictionaries, etc.)
Experience of business process modelling in standard notations

Highly Desirable

Formal courses in lean-agile methodology; certification preferred
Experience in some of the following tools: Google docs, Visio/Lucidchart, and Axure
